Our design process

Our nine steps to designing your website

Once you've paid your deposit, the work is confirmed and we start work designing your site. Below you will find our design process, so you know what to expect at every stage of your Wix website build.

We have worked to ensure our 9-step design process enables our clients to be involved at every stage, so you can get the site design you like and functionality that works for you and your clients. We offer one round of free edits per page, after which any additional edits will be charged at our editing rate and added to your final bill.

How we work : Web Design Build Process

STEP ONE: HOMEPAGE DESIGN

Depending on the service you select, we will design you either 1 or 2 homepage options to choose from. We start with the homepage as this is the most important page on your site and dictates the style of the rest of the pages.

Turnaround time: Usually designed within 2 days

Delivery: Once we have done the homepage/s design for you, we will send this to you to review using the Wix Get Feedback option and you will be notified by email.

STEP TWO: HOMEPAGE EDITS/REVISIONS

If you have any revisions you would like us to make to your homepage design, we ask that you either mark these up in the Get Feedback site or you can send these over by email - we prefer these methods to over the phone so we can be sure we don’t miss anything.

Turnaround time: Usually edits/revisions are made within 2 days of receipt

Delivery: Once we made the edits for you, we will send this to you to review using the Wix Get Feedback option and you will be notified by email.

STEP THREE: OTHER PAGES DESIGN

Now you have signed off on your homepage design, we will now start working on the design of the other pages of your site. These pages’ design will reflect the homepage in terms of colour and style to ensure a cohesive design throughout the site and strong brand identity.

Turnaround time: This depends on the number of pages required in your build and complexity of design but will usually be designed within a week, could be longer for more complex designs

Delivery: Once we have done the other pages designs for you, we will send these to you to review using the Wix Get Feedback option and you will be notified by email.

STEP SIX: SEO EDITS/REVISIONS

If you have any revisions you would like us to make to the SEO we sent you, we ask you send these to us via email and then we will set these up for you.

Turnaround time: Usually within 2 days

Delivery: We will send confirmation that requested changes have been made via email.

STEP FIVE: BASIC WIX SEO SETUP

Once you are happy with the design and functionality of your desktop site, we will set up your basic Wix SEO including on-page SEO. We ask that you send us ten keywords that you would like your site found by in Google and other search engines. We will then set up your SEO based on these and send you a list of these in an email for your review and records.

Turnaround time: Usually within 2 days

Delivery: We will send these to you via email.

STEP FOUR: OTHER PAGES EDITS /REVISIONS

If you have any revisions you would like us to make to your other pages design, we ask that you either mark these up in the Get Feedback site or you can send these over by email - we prefer these methods to over the phone so we can be sure we don’t miss anything.

Turnaround time: Usually edits/revisions are made within 2 days of receipt

Delivery: Once we made the edits for you, we will send this to you to review using the Wix Get Feedback option and you will be notified by email.

STEP SEVEN: MOBILE SITE SETUP

We will now set up your mobile site version of your desktop site. Please note this will look different to your desktop site due to size restrictions, however we will do our best to maintain design and functionality, although there are some Wix apps that do not currently work on mobile.

Turnaround time: Usually within two days

Delivery: Once it is ready for your review we will ask you to test it via the Get Feedback link.

STEP EIGHT: MOBILE SITE EDITS /REVISIONS

If you have any revisions you would like us to make to your mobile site design, we ask that you either mark these up in the Get Feedback site or you can send these over by email - we prefer these methods to over the phone so we can be sure we don’t miss anything.

Delivery: Once we made the edits for you, we will send this to you to review using the Wix Get Feedback option and you will be notified by email.

STEP NINE: WE TRANSFER THE SITE OVER TO YOU FOR LAUNCH

Once you are happy with the mobile site and have signed off your site design, we will send you a transfer invitation link - this will come via Wix. We will keep a copy of the site in our account (just as a backup) and also add ourselves to your site as a contributor in case you need our help in the future with editing.

We will also send you instructions on how to connect up your domain name and suggestions on which Wix hosting package we would recommend for you.
